We are all unique and need personalized fitness & nutrition planning to be successful. Our goal is to motivate our clients to live a healthy lifestyle, deliver services to nourish the mind and body, and provide the tools they need to achieve goals.

Our Head Coach & Founder

Katy Harris is a master fitness trainer and strength coach with over 15 years of experience.

Katy has always had a passion for wellness, drawn from a background in academic research, healthcare, public health, personal training, and medical weight loss. She has a Masters in Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill, over 15 years experience training clients and athletes, and has been helping clients through WellLife since 2014 to lose weight, get stronger, and gain life-long strategies to improve health.

Her understanding of what is needed to help different types of people achieve their wellness goals is the key to her approach. Whether it’s coming up with a personalized fitness plan or walking clients through nutrition sessions, no detail is spared.

Katy’s lifelong participation in sports, leadership and athlete development, and coaching certifications, make her uniquely qualified to assist people in achieving their performance and health goals. She has been a competitive ultimate Frisbee player on the national and international stage for over 15 years. See below for a list of Katy’s certification organizations.

Our Team

We have worked hard to find capable and courteous people who are a pleasure to work with. Our providers have a similar philosophy and values, and will create an environment where you feel comfortable and rejuvenated. Tain Collins is a yoga instructor who uses a combination of guided meditation and gentle flow yoga that will improve your practice and allow your mind and body to recover.

Tain has been practicing in Chapel Hill for over 10 years. Originally from Pennsylvania, Tain uses a combination of guided meditation and gentle flow yoga that will improve your practice and allow your mind and body to recover.  Tain will adjust each session to your needs for the day.

Services include: Gentle flow, Yoga Nidra, Guided Meditation, Private and partner yoga, and Small group yoga.

Ben Pagano is a massage therapist who specializes in myofascial massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and assisted stretching.

Originally from Saxapahaw, North Carolina, Ben has been practicing in Chapel Hill for 5 years. Ben will take the time before, during, and after your session to listen to your goals, ask and answer questions, and develop a customized treatment plan.

Services include: Myofascial massage, Deep tissue, Trigger point therapy, Sports massage, and Assisted stretching.

Kiah Wells is a massage therapist who specializes in deep tissue, myofascial and Swedish massage.

Kiah’s training is from the Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, NC. He was homeschooled K-12 and spent years immersed in outdoor education and survival skills. His passion lies in working with athletes to help them reach their full potential and maintain health.
